When will I get my rewards?

How do I know what rewards were
included in each package?

There are a lot of reward packages, and it can be hard to keep track of what you get with each of them. So, we put together this handy graphic to show you just how much cool stuff you get for your support:

Why haven't I gotten anything yet /
What if my rewards haven't arrived?

There are a few possible answers.

  1. If you LIVE OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES, reward shipments are taking longer than we had hoped… but don't worry! Everything is on its way to our overseas shipping partners. It just might be a few more weeks.
     
  2. If you DIDN'T FILL OUT YOUR BACKERKIT ORDER FORM, we probably didn't have the information we needed to send your rewards out. We've been sending regular emails to everyone who hasn't filled out their form since last summer, but haven't heard from you
    • If you didn't fill out your BackerKit form yet, please go to BackerKit now.
    • Enter the email address you used on Kickstarter so we can send you a new link to fill it out.
  3. Or, you might have DECLINED SOME REWARDS IN BACKERKIT. (That's when some of you told us you didn't want some of the rewards, so that we'd spend more of your pledge on making the new episodes.)

    • The easiest way to check what you selected is to log back into BackerKit.
    • Then, if you're missing a reward you DID ask to receive, check the Reward Schedule to see if it's gone out yet.
    • Some rewards won't be sent until this summer!
  4. It's possible that YOUR REWARDS GOT LOST IN THE MAIL. We hope this isn't the case, but we sent stuff out to 50,000 people around the world -- odds are, a few of those packages are going to get lost, misplaced, or accidentally delivered to the wrong address.
    • If you're missing a reward that you were expecting, that you know we've shipped, and other backers have already gotten theirs, please let us know! We'll work with our fulfillment service to figure out what happened and get it fixed for you.

Why did my last rewards arrive so late?

Last fall, we told you that we were hoping to get all of the initial rewards -- the T-SHIRTS, HOODIES, POSTCARD SETS and MEMBERSHIP CARDS -- delivered in time for the holidays.

Unfortunately, due to some last-minute production delays with the t-shirts, a lot of packages didn't get shipped until the first two weeks of January 2017. In addition, based on the high number of rewards we had to send out, it took our warehouse almost three weeks to get all of the orders packed and into the mail -- much longer than we were expecting!

That means that some of you got your orders up to 3-4 weeks later than others. We didn't realize that was going to happen, and we apologize for any disappointment or frustration you might have experienced.

For all remaining rewards, we're working with our fulfillment warehouse to make sure that all reward orders get packed in advance, and then sent out at the same time… so we're hoping that with the remaining rewards, most backers will get them within 1-2 weeks.


What if I was sent the wrong reward(s)?

If your rewards package includes a DIFFERENT item than you were expecting (e.g. the wrong T-SHIRT DESIGN)...

  1. CHECK THE PACKING SLIP to see if you have what's listed there. If the packing slip lists something different than what you got, your reward just got packed incorrectly. Write to support and let us know, and we'll fix it!

  2. DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR ORDER ON BACKERKIT to make sure you ordered the correct item. It's been a while since many backers placed their orders, so it's possible you think you ordered one thing, but actually ordered another! If you were sent something different than what you ordered, write to support and let us know. We'll fix it!

How do I check what I ordered on BackerKit?

When you first filled out your BackerKit order form, you should have received a confirmation email with a link to your BackerKit account. If you revisit that link, you can view a complete list of all rewards that you selected in BackerKit, including Add-On Rewards.

It should look something like this:

When will I get to see the new episodes of MST3K?

We still don't know the official release date on Netflix, but as soon as we know, Joel will tell everyone in a Backer Update. We expect it to be sometime this spring or summer.

However, if your Kickstarter rewards include access to digital downloads of the FIRST NEW EPISODE or ALL NEW EPISODES, we don't want you getting your copies after anyone else -- so our plan is to send your digital downloads to you no later than when the new season debuts on Netflix. The DVD and BLU RAY sets will take an extra month or two, because those include a bunch of bonus materials which won't be 100% finished when the season premieres on Netflix.

ALSO, please remember: the more people who watch the new episodes on Netflix, the better the odds that Netflix will decide to renew the show for one or more additional seasons! So, if you want there to be even more new episodes of MST3K after this, and you're a Netflix subscriber, please consider watching them on Netflix too, even if you've already downloaded them.


How do I find my digital rewards again?

When you first filled out your BackerKit order form, you should have received a confirmation email with a link to your BackerKit account. You will need that link whenever you want to access most of your digital rewards.

How do I download and/or stream my
classic bonus episodes?

For a lot of you, the most anticipated digital reward will be the CLASSIC BONUS EPISODES, which we're distributing through a platform called VHX. To get to your free episodes, you'll need to copy-and-paste the unique URL in your digital rewards into a new browser window.

The first time you use the URL, you'll see a screen that looks like this: 

 
 

If you already have a VHX account, you'll be able to login and link your episodes to your account.

If you don't, you'll need to set one up now by providing your email address.

Once you have an account, you'll be able to stream and download your episodes, DRM-free, whenever you want. You can also download the VHX app for Apple TV, ROKU, iOS, Android, and many other popular devices, which will make it easy to stream the episodes whenever you want without downloading them.


SPECIFIC REWARD QUESTIONS


What if my postcard never arrived?

Take a deep breath! We want to make sure everyone gets their THANK YOU POSTCARD reward from Joel and the cast, but let's be honest: when you send out almost 50,000 postcards, a few are probably going to get lost in the mail.

If you didn't get your postcard, there are FIVE POSSIBLE EXPLANATIONS:

  1.  We didn't have your address. If you've finished your BackerKit order form, this probably isn't it.
  2. Your rewards didn't include a postcard. We suggest logging back into BackerKit to double-check.
  3. You declined your postcard in BackerKit. It could happen! Log back into BackerKit to double-check.
  4. It went to an old address. Is it possible we had the wrong postal address, and sent it there?
  5. It got lost in the mail. If you're sure you were supposed to get one, this is probably what happened.

If you've logged into BackerKit and double-checked, and you're sure it's none of the first three options, then it must have gotten lost in the mail. But don't worry: all you have to do is email our Backer Support team, let them know, and they'll take care of it!


What if the shirt I ordered is too big/too small?

If the shirt you received is smaller or larger than you were expecting, we definitely sympathize... but unfortunately, unless we accidentally sent you a different size than the one you selected on BackerKit, we can't afford to send you a free replacement in another size.

HOWEVER, we are planning to print one more round of T-SHIRTS and HOODIES before we send out the final round of rewards, so if you want to order a shirt in a different size -- or a different design -- you'll be able to. As soon as we're able to accept more orders, we'll share a link through one of Joel's Kickstarter updates!


What if I want to order more shirts or hoodies?

If you've already worn out your shirt, want more for yourself or friends/family, or you've decided you want to also own the other t-shirt design, you're in luck! We are planning to print one additional run of T-SHIRTS and HOODIES before we send out the final rewards, so you'll still get a chance to order more. As soon as we're able to accept more orders, we'll share a link in one of Joel's Kickstarter updates.


Did my name go in the END CREDITS?
What name did you use?

If you filled out your BackerKit order form before the deadline, and your reward package or Add-On Rewards included a "thank you" in the End Credits of an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, we've got you covered.

All of the episodes are now locked, and we're no longer able to add missing names or make corrections... but if you submitted your name on time, you can check the FINAL MASTER LIST to see if your name was included.

If you missed the deadline and weren't able to submit your name, we're genuinely disappointed. We emailed everyone we didn't hear from several times, and asked everyone to check for their name in one Joel's Kickstarter updates – but if we couldn't reach you to get your permission and requested name, we weren't able to put your name into the end credits.
